Convoke
Free in open beta

Schedule the next session in under a minute.

Blast the Horn is Convoke's async session-coordination tool. Propose a date, set a minimum-player threshold, watch confirmations roll in. When the threshold hits, the session locks in. No more "does next Thursday work?" threads that die on day three.

No credit card. 5e today, more systems coming.

How it works.

1. The GM blasts the horn

Pick a few candidate dates. Set a minimum number of players required. Add a note: "evening session, BYOB, we are finishing the heist." Hit send.

2. Players vote

Each player sees the proposal and confirms — yes / maybe / no — for each candidate date. Convoke handles timezones automatically. Comments thread underneath.

3. The session confirms itself

When a date hits the minimum-player threshold, Convoke locks it in, posts to the campaign calendar, and pushes notifications to everyone confirmed.

4. The session happens

When session day arrives, Convoke pings everyone an hour before. Late posts, link sharing, and pre-session chatter stay in the campaign.

Why it works.

  • Async — no group call required to schedule a group call
  • Timezone-aware — every player sees their own local time
  • Threshold-based — sessions confirm or do not, automatically
  • Calendar-integrated — the in-world calendar updates with the real-world session
  • Notification-driven — Convoke pushes to mobile when something needs your attention

Who it is for.

  • Adult groups whose schedules never quite line up
  • Hybrid campaigns trying to lock in their next live session
  • Play-by-post groups who occasionally want to gather live
  • GMs who run multiple campaigns and need to triangulate calendars

Stop chasing your group. Start playing with them.
